Rasicm Claim By Oprah Winfrey Was An Misscomunication?

Store clerk who had been accused of racism by Oprah Winfrey has denied saying that. "In the last week, the TV presenter told how a clerk at a boutique in Switzerland repeatedly refused to show him a valuable bag £ 25,000 in July, assuming he could not afford it. Speaking anonymously to the newspaper SonntagsBlick, boutique employee said:

"I was wondering what I need to show him when he came on the afternoon of Saturday, July 20. So I showed him a few bags from the collection of Jennifer Aniston.
"I explained to him the bags in different sizes and different materials, like I usually do. He then saw a sesuat behind me. Away at the top there is a crocodile skin bag worth 35,000 Swiss francs.
"I just told him the exact same bag with which I hold, only the price is much more expensive.
"Absolutely not true that I refused to show bag with racist reasons. I even asked her if she would like to see the bag."
Boutique employee said: "It is not true, It does not make sense to me to say something like that to the customer.
"I do not know why he made such allegations. She is so famous, and I'm just a girl shopkeeper. I do not hurt anyone. I do not know why someone as big as he should accuse me on TV.
"If it all happened as he claims, why did not he complain to my boss the next day at the wedding of Tina Turner? She was there also at Turner wedding as a guest."
Previously, Oprah Winfrey received a formal apology from the Swiss tourism officials after speaking about the racist incident on U.S. television, while the owner of the boutique, Trudie Goetz explain the behavior of their employees was a "misunderstanding".
