"People who love him and the fans will remember the figure of Gia Allemand as a woman who loved her family and cared known for his compassion for animals and a mission to save homeless pets," the family statement said.
Her
boyfriend, Anderson, who played for the New Orleans Pelicans, said in a
statement he was grateful for the love and support of family, friends
and fans.
"Gia was the most beautiful people I know inside and out and she was always smiling and making people smile too," said Anderson. "He had a tremendous effect on my life and anyone who knew him were blessed. All that's left is to cherish the memories we made together and help perpetuate a lot of values, faith and love we shared."

Fleiss, creator and executive producer of "The Bachelor," released a
statement saying that,
"The whole family is very sad Bachelor with the tragic death of our friend, Gia. She's really sweet and generous soul. This is a devastating loss for the anyone who ever knew him. "
A
number of his friends from the show "Bachelor" today submitted to
social media in shock over the news of his death, and his name became a
trending topic on Twitter.

Chris Harrison tweeted: "It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye
to our good friend Gia Allemand He will be loved and missed by all who
knew him .."
Former "Bachelor" Pavelka said he was "devastated" at the news, calling him "a very dear friend.""We have lost an angel today. Gia I miss you," he tweeted.
