Brown being sued by cousin Frank Ocean claiming that Hip Hop star's
bodyguards attacked him during a fight on January 27, 2013. The incident occurred when Brown, Ocean and his entourage each fight, there are several versions according to TMZ, the fight occurred outside an LA recording studio. While the fight was going on, according to USA Today, after rupture
Brown spots in Ocean park in LA studio. Guards Brown, dubbed the 'Hood', attacked the ocean cousins, Sha'Keir Duarte, and pushed his employer. Duarte claimed he was one of the most seriously injured victims in the fight. He said he was permanently disabled after the attack. Duarte also claims to have suffered from mental disorders, himiliation and concussion from the attack. According to the Ocean cousins, Hood attacked him, kicking him and as much as twelve times in the head several times. While he was just lying on the ground defensively. Further Duarte, Brown encouraged Hood by saying "get n **** r!" He mocked Duarte after beating by glancing "You just beat your ass and it's all the cameras." Report in USA Today also reported that Chris Brown used weapons in the attack.
Duarte demands for unspecified damages. Representative Brown himself has not commented on the legal issues. His lawyer, Mark Geragos, commented, saying "this is what gives lawyers and lawsuits a bad name is rubbish like this." He went on to say he would try to stop the lawsuit and will countersue Duarte.
